WIP Wednesday :: production line sewing!

WIP Wednesday Button

Over the past 2 weeks, the sewing machine and overlocker have been getting a good workout! It’s been fun. Crochet has been reserved for night time when I avoid trying to sew, as it usually ends up in a whole lot of unpicking.

There’s been bunting, lavender sachets, zippered pouches and most recently – cushions!

I had bought some cotton drill fabric intending to make composition book covers, but it rather lent itself to cushion covers with pompom trim instead!

There’s a few more than this, in different colour combinations – I love them! I think they look rather cute on Izzy’s bed, so hopefully there’s a few that don’t sell at the markets.

Back to the sewing machine while the little man is at Kindy today!
