one sunny winter’s day

We’ve had a few beautiful sunny winter days here this week. You could be fooled into thinking it was Spring already, and not August which is usually one of our most dreariest months.

The nights have been super chilly – getting down to almost 0 degrees, but the skies have been cloudless and the sun shines brightly during the day. The breeze can still be cold, but every now and then it drops right off, and that’s when it becomes perfect weather in my opinion – not hot, not cold and the harbour looks like a sheet of glass.

Yesterday morning was one of those perfect weather moments, so I headed out for a short walk with the dog and Lucas, with my camera to our local yacht club, which has a lovely view of the City centre.

Nothing quite like a bit of winter sunshine, and a beautiful vista to brighten up a week!

It’s never boring, and there’s nothing like some sea air in your lungs to make you feel alive I reckon!
